Retreat to Paradise Plot
Ellie Vaughn (Melanie Stone) tends to the injured and cantankerous tennis player Jordan Greer (Casey Elliott) as he heals from a shoulder injury. Though he struggles to learn to use his arm again, his attitude leaves Ellie wanting to leave him in his misery. However, Jordan’s longtime coach Neal (Brian Krause) still thinks he can return to the courts in no time. But, as Ellie and Jordan get to know each other more, they start to see each other in new ways. Jordan sees that Ellie is exactly who he wants in his life, and hopes she feels the same way.

Melanie Stone as Ellie Vaughn
Melanie Stone starred in the feature film Little Women and the made-for-TV movie Cupid for Christmas. Other notables include Deadstream, V/H/S/99 and Mythica 2: The Darkspore. Melanie even held a role in Lifetime’s My Christmas Inn alongside Tia Mowry. The 36-year-old was born in Sacramento, California and her birthday is March 21. In addition to acting, Stone is also a singer.
Casey Elliott as Jordan Greer
Casey Elliott appeared in the films An Hour Behind and Out of Liberty. Additional credits include Great American Family’s Destined at Christmas and Destined at Christmas 2, as well as Prime Video’s My One True Love. Casey is from Riverside, California, and grew up in Bountiful, Utah. Elliott is married to wife Zerelda and is a father to four kids. They currently live in Layton, UT. And, just like co-star Melanie Stone, Casey is also a singer, in a band called GENTRI.
Brian Krause as Neal Terry
Brian Krause starred in television shows The Closer and Charmed. His filmography also included films like Sleepwalkers, Jack Rio and Christmas for a Dollar, as well as TV shows like Another World, Cypher and SWAT. The 55-year-old actor was married to Beth Bruce from 1996–2000; he has one child, a son named Jamen.
