Mystery by the Book Plot

A bookstore owner (Alicia Dea Josipovic) starts an antagonistic relationship with a book cover model (Corey Sevier) until an antique key found in a false book unlocks a mystery and perhaps a new romance.

Alicia Dea Josipovic as Samantha

Alicia Dea Josipovic is a Canadian actress. One of her most notable roles is that of Bianca on Degrassi. Josipovic appeared in Lifetime’s holiday movie Secretly Santa, and Amazon Prime’s film The Love Issue. Rounding out her credits are episodes of Reign, Murdoch Mysteries, Nurses and Frankie Drake Mysteries. Her dance skills allowed to be a background performer in made-for-TV films Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. In her free time, Alicia likes to travel.

Corey Sevier as Josh

Corey Sevier is a Canadian actor. Recently, he appeared in Everything Christmas, Jazz Ramsey: A K-9 Mystery and The Heiress and the Handyman for Hallmark. Additional made-for-TV movies include Lifetime’s Grounded For Christmas, Matchmaker Christmas and It Takes a Christmas Village, which he also directed. Other notables include roles in TV programs North Shore and Lassie. Corey is married to wife Kate Pragnell with whom he has one child.
