Hallmark Channel continues its June Weddings program lineup with the premiere of Make Me a Match. It follows previously aired originals The Wedding Contract, Love’s Greek to Me and Wedding Season. Premiering June 24, Make Me a Match follows a woman who hires a matchmaker and meets her son, which leads her to question her thoughts on love. What is Make Me a Match about?
Vivi (Eva Bourne) is a woman who works at a data-driven matchmaking app. When she discovers their success rates are low, she hires Indian matchmaker Raina (Rekha Sharma,“Battlestar Galactica”) to help improve their numbers. But, there’s a catch. Raina wants to help Vivi find love, and Vivi can use what she learns to help her company. As their matchmaking journey begins, Vivi meets Raina’s son, Bhumesh (Rushi Kota). This leads her to question whether finding love is something one must take control of or allow to happen on its own.

Who’s in the Cast of Make Me a Match?
Rushi Kota as Bhumesh
Rushi Kota is an actor known for Never Have I Ever on Netflix. Fans will also recognize him from Grey’s Anatomy. Additional credits include guest spots on episodes of 911 and Famous in Love, as well as a recurring role on Extant. Prior to acting, Rushi studied Automotive Engineering at SUNY Farmingdale. But, later he received his MFA in Acting from Harvard. Upcoming for Kota is a role in the feature film Dumb Money.
Kota is married to wife Reeshelle and they have one child together. “Welcome to the world little man,” Rushi wrote on Instagram.
Eva Bourne as Vivi
Eva Bourne is an actress known for When Calls the Heart on Hallmark Channel. She appeared in 60 episodes and in 15 installments of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Garage Sale Mysteries franchise. Eva has guested on shows such as Psych, Motive, Falling Skies and Once Upon a Time. Most recently, you may have seen her in Devil in Ohio for Netflix.
