Lori Loughlin Returns to TV in When Hope Calls Season 2 on GAC

Fans are excited to learn When Hope Calls will return for Season 2 with Lori Loughlin on a brand new channel, GAC TV also known as “Great American Country.”

GAC TV announced today Lori would return to acting in When Hope Calls which is a spinoff to “When Calls the Heart” from Hallmark Channel.

According to tvline.com, Lori will come back in the role of Abigail Stanton starting on December 18, 2021. It will double as a Christmas special titled, “When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas.”

When Calls the Heart originally wrapped taping on Season 8 officially in May 2021. The long-running series announced a renewal for season 9 in 2022.

Bill Abbott, the president and CEO of GAC announced Lori Loughlin will guest star in When Hope Calls in the first two episodes centered around a town at Christmas. The two towns are competing to be named “America’s Number 1 Country Christmas Town” according to USA Today.

In addition to Loughlin, the series will also bring in stars Morgan Kohan reprising her role of Lilian Walsh and RJ Hatanaka according to Deadline.

GAC TV – Great American Country Television began airing on September 27, 2021.

On the announcement of Lori Loughlin joining When Hope Calls, her former co-star on Fuller House and Full House, Candace Cameron Bure commented, “Whoo Hoo!!! So exciting!!!!” Lawrence Zarian from “Home and Family” also said “Loooooooove this!!!”
