Premieres Saturday, March 21st at 8/7c on Lifetime

What if your worst nightmare followed you into the waking world? This March, Lifetime explores the terrifying boundary between the subconscious and the truth in the new psychological thriller, I Killed Him in My Sleep.

The Story: A Desperate Experiment Gone Wrong

Academy Award® nominee Abigail Breslin stars as Kelty Crawford, a millennial drowning under the weight of modern life. Between career uncertainty, mounting financial strain, and the pressure of a wedding she can’t possibly afford, Kelty is at her breaking point.

In a desperate bid for quick cash, she enrolls in a high-stakes sleep-study experiment. But the “controlled” environment quickly spirals into a living hell. Kelty begins experiencing a recurring, visceral dream: she is standing over a dying man, a bloody knife in her hand, while a haunting voice accuses her of murder.

The horror becomes all too real when a news report the following day identifies a missing man who perfectly matches the victim from her dreams. Haunted by the possibility that she committed a crime while unconscious, Kelty embarks on a dangerous quest to uncover the truth—only to find that some secrets are better left buried in the dark.

What to Expect

Fans of psychological twists and “unreliable narrator” stories will find plenty to love here. Unlike a standard whodunit, I Killed Him in My Sleep focuses on the internal trauma of a woman who can no longer trust her own mind. With a “Sopranos” alum (Lydia Hearst) behind the scenes and Breslin’s proven dramatic range, this is set to be one of the network’s most talked-about premieres of the season.
