What is Cut, Color, Murder About?
Ali Bowden is the owner of Monarch Beauty Salon. It is her mission that everyone who visits her salon will get the best hair cut, color and style they want, of course along with a good dose of gossip.
Monarch Beauty Salon starts booming as the residents are gearing up for the annual Miss Golden Peak Pageant. Ali’s sister Chelsea decides to enter the competition herself. However, things take a turn when the pageant creator is found dead and everyone becomes a suspect, even Chelsea.
Ali steps in to help the new detective, Kyle Crawford investigate the case. Once Ali dives in, it unfortunately brings back memories from years ago when she was desperately trying to solve her own husband’s murder. Just as Ali gets close to uncovering the killer’s identity, everything is on the line and she even learns some startling facts along the way.

Julie Gonzalo as Ali Bowden
Julie Gonzalo is an Argentine-American actress. She is best known for her roles on Veronica Mars, Dallas and of course playing the lead mean girl in “A Cinderella Story” starring Hilary Duff.
The 40 year old actress moved with her family when she was 8 to live in Miami, Florida. She shared a photo of she and her co-star Ryan McPartlin from the set. “These two new friends have a special project coming up,” she said.
Ryan teased her in the comments saying, “After all the ghostwriting I did …this is what you post??? 😘 at least you called me your friend”
She has two pups that she is very close to. They all go on hikes together!
Ryan McPartlin as Kyle Crawford
Ryan McPartlin is an American actor, best known for his role in the NBC comedy series, Chuck.
He is 46-years old and was born in Chicago, Illinois. Ryan has been married to his wife Danielle since 2002. They met at the University of Illinois. They share two sons together.
It looks like they were filming their newest Hallmark Mystery at the end of December. Ryan posted a photo of he and his co-star Julie. He comically wrote, “I told my new co-star @julie_gonzalo that her “protective mask earrings” are all the rage right now. I don’t think she finds me to be very funny 😂”
During the month of December he and his wife took their two sons to experience their first NFL game at SoFi Stadium.
