The California native was born Trevor Donovan Neubauer, but obviously shortened it for his acting career. Speaking of which, Trevor’s resume is nothing short of impressive. Aside from his Great American Family celebrity, Donovan’s done work on major films, and guested on well-known TV shows. Who is Trevor Donovan?

1) Trevor was born on October 11, 1978 in Bishop, California. He grew up in nearby Mammoth Lakes. He’s 45 years old.

2) He has a brother named Jake, who is a fireman. “My #Fireman brother Jake and I doing the REDWOD Workout with 70 lbs bag,” Trevor tweeted years ago. Check out the video below, as well as another photo he posted for National Siblings Day a couple years back.

3) While Trevor does not have any kids, he is a proud dog dad. He has has two dogs: Shadow, a Golden Retriever and Chance, a Labrador Retriever. Donovan previously had a German Shepard named Dogbert and an English Bulldog named Tito. Although, judging by his most recent tweets, he may have a new dog named Roscoe. 4) His most notable role is that of Teddy Montgomery on the hit show 90210. Trevor began in a recurring role during season 2; by season 3, he was upgraded to a series regular. He appeared in 73 episodes from 2009-2013.

5) Other credits of his include: Sun Records, Melissa & Joey, as well as a variety of Hallmark movies such as USS Christmas, Nantucket Noel and J.L. Family Ranch: The Wedding Gift.

6) Great American Family fans will recognize Trevor from Jingle Bell Princess, A Harvest Homecoming and most recently, ‘Twas the Text Before Christmas, where he reunited with former Jingle Bell Princess co-star Merritt Patterson.

Bonus fun fact: Trevor reunited with 90210’s Jessica Lowndes for A Harvest Homecoming in 2023. In 90210, the two portrayed old friends who also used to date. In the GAC film, their characters have a romantic entanglement too.

7) In feature films, Donovan can be seen in Reagan. He will portray former President Ronald Reagan’s longest-serving Secret Service Agent John Barletta. Additional films you may have seen him in include Savages, Surrogates and Takers.

8) Trevor competed on season 31 of Dancing with the Stars. He was partnered up with professional dancer Emma Slater and their team name was “Tremma.” They placed 6th overall in the competition.

Who are Alexa and Carlos PenaVega?

Alexa PenaVega is a 35-year-old actress and singer. She grew up with six siblings, including her actress sister, Makenzie Vega. Her most notable roles include the Spy Kids film franchise, Sleepover, and a variety of Hallmark Channel original movies like Ms Matched, Taking a Shot at Love and A Paris Proposal. She is married to Carlos Pena Jr., and they combined their last names (Vega and Pena) after their nuptials.

Carlos PenaVega is a 34-year-old actor and singer. He portrayed Carlos Garcia on the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush. He is also a member of the band Big Time Rush, with former cast mates James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson. With his wife, Alexa, Carlos starred in many Hallmark movies, including Enchanted Christmas, Love at Sea, the Picture Perfect Mysteries franchise and Love in the Limelight.

How did Alexa and Carlos meet?

Alexa and Carlos PenaVega met in 2012 at a Bible study. At the time, Alexa was not looking for love because she recently went through a divorce. So, she and Carlos became friends first. In 2013, they became engaged. Carlos and Alexa married on January 4, 2014. Their 10 year anniversary happened this year.  

“10 years of being married to you! Excited for this new chapter that God has for us! #happyanniversary,” Carlos posted to his Instagram page, tagging his wife, Alexa.

Do they have kids?

Carlos and Alexa PenaVega’s first son, Ocean, was born in 2016. Their second son, Kingston, was born in 2019. Their first daughter, Rio, was born in 2021. Ocean is now 7 years old; Kingston is 4, but will be turning 5 at the end of June. Rio is 3 years old. Did you know that their kids have their own Instagrams? In November 2023, Alexa and Carlos announced they were expecting their fourth child. But, in April of this year, their daughter, Indy, was stillborn. Family, friends, and fans alike shared their condolences for the couple on social media. The support helped the couple rally during this difficult time, and Alexa thanked everyone in a video a month later.

Anything else to know about Alexa and Carlos?

Alexa and Carlos both appeared on season 21 of Dancing with the Stars. But, they did not dance with each other. They both were paired with professional dancers. Alexa was partnered with Mark Ballas and Carlos was paired with Witney Carson.

In addition to their impressive acting resumes, the couple have a YouTube channel together. Formerly titled LexLovesLos, it’s now La Vida PenaVega, and chronicles their family life. They’ve had quite the journey. In 2017, the PenaVegas moved from Los Angeles, California to Maui, Hawaii. They split their time between their home there, and fixing up a boat in Florida to sail around the world in.

However, in March of 2024, both Alexa and Carlos felt called to move to Tennessee. At the time of their video, their houseboat was up for sale and they relocated to a new house. The family seems to be enjoying their time so far.

Most recently, in terms of work, the couple starred in the Great American Pure Flix movie, Mr. Manhattan. They attended the premiere in Lexington, Kentucky, last month.

Who is Nick Bateman?

1) Nick is 37 years old. He was born in Ontario, Canada. His full name is Nicholas Kevin Stanley Yunge-Bateman. However, he shortened it for his acting and modeling career. His birthday is November 18, which makes him a Scorpio. Scorpios are often seen as loyal, intuitive and charismatic, all of which fit Bateman well.

2) In his younger years, Nick trained in martial arts. Later on, he opened his own karate school. He continues to keep up with his practices, and shares videos on social media (example below):

3) Bateman is also an accomplished model. He lived and worked in Milan, New York and Miami during that time. Nick was even in an Abercrombie & Fitch campaign, shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber.

4) After modeling, he got into acting and quickly began getting gigs. Early on, he guested on shows like My Babysitter’s a Vampire and appeared in films such as Hobo with a Shotgun. Later roles include A Winter Wedding and A Christmas Miracle for Daisy on GAC, as well as A Brush With Love for Hallmark and The Hazing Secret for Lifetime.

5) Bateman married wife Maria Corrigan in 2019 after dating for 11 years. They have two sons named Chase (born 2018) and Theo (born 2022).

Who is Jillian Murray?

1) Jillian Murray is an American actress. She was born in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Arizona too. She recently turned 40 years old on June 4, and she had an Italian themed birthday party. “Well this is 40 and when life gives you lemons…have a dinner party?” she captioned an Instagram reel.

2) Now, while many people know her from her GAC movies, other fans will remember Murray from stints on Awkward, Code Black and Sonny With a Chance. Jillian appeared in movies such as A Kiss on the Candy Lane, Prescription for Love and Christmas in the Pines.

3) Speaking of Christmas in the Pines, Jillian co-starred with her real-life husband, actor and singer Dean Geyer. The two began dating in 2010, got engaged in 2016, and were married in 2017.

4) Great American Family viewers know Jillian from Christmas Keepsake, A Brush With Christmas and An Unlikely Angel. With her new GAC deal, she’ll continue to star in films for them in the coming years. “I look forward to finding timeless stories to share with everyone. And anyone that knows me understands how much I adore Christmas movies so I’m exuberant to continue making those as well,” Murray said on Instagram regarding the announcement.

6) Murray’s majorly into fitness. She has a home gym, complete with elite workout equipment. Jillian also enjoys hiking, biking and kayaking.

]]> QVC+ is premiering its second all-new original holiday film called The Recipe Files. The film stars singer Ashlee Simpson and follows the success of the streaming service’s first film last year, Holly and the Hot Chocolate. This new movie is only one of the many new programs that QVC+ has planned, and will continue to focus on the consumer-product connection. What is The Recipe Files on QVC+ about?

Variety reported the official description per QVC, which is: “‘The Recipe Files’ centers on Isabel, a baker who finds herself seeking adventure in the cookie-cutter town of Shady Oaks after having lost her job and fiancé. When she suspects her recent thrift store find, a mysterious handwritten recipe book, may hold clues to its former owner’s death, she sets out to crack the case with the help of some newfound friends, all amidst a budding romance. Will she solve it in time for the holidays or will her efforts be a recipe for disaster?” 

The film is directed by Lindsay Hartley, who has written and starred in many other television films for networks like Lifetime. It’s part of the network’s “Movie Mall” experience where fans can shop merchandise and get special deals on QVC products.

Ashlee Simpson as Isabel

Ashlee Simpson is a well-known singer-songwriter, actress, wife and mother. She rose to fame with her hit single “Pieces of Me” from her debut album Autobiography. She followed that with the release of I Am Me and Bittersweet World. On TV, Simpson starred in the reboot of Melrose Place on the CW, had her own eponymous reality show on MTV, and a different reality show on E!. Ashlee also has a Broadway credit to her name, starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She was previously married to Pete Wentz from 2008-2011; since 2014, she is married to Evan Ross. Ashlee has one son from her marriage to Pete, and two children, a son and a daughter, with current husband Evan. She is the younger sister of singer and actress Jessica Simpson.

Considering JR’s work is in California, it’s possible they could’ve met at an industry event, or just by chance at a festival, party, etc. By October 2017, it’s clear Merritt was smitten with JR, writing: “Dear Dallas, you were a 24hr blur but 100% worth it 🎶💕 #denimondenim.” The next year brought plenty of travels for the couple, including fun in the sun with Merritt’s family on vacation.

For Valentine’s Day in 2019, Merritt posted a sweet black and white photo of her and JR. It’s no wonder that the duo spent time together during the pandemic, eventually hiking (and social distancing!) in May 2020. But, perhaps the biggest jump on their relationship timeline took place in 2021 – more specifically, “08.12.21 🤍” as Merritt captioned the photo. That was the day of their engagement!

When did Merritt and JR get married?

On September 17, 2022 Merritt and JR married. Or, as Merritt captioned her wedding IG post: “09.17.22.” Their ceremony took place in Italy, specifically the romantic destination Masseria San Giovanni, which is in Puglia.

Patterson wore a lovely, luxuriously designed bridal gown by Rita Vinieris. Tania Nitsak from Rome did her hair and makeup. The couple looked very happy in their wedding photos!

While Merritt didn’t post anything for their one year anniversary, ironically, in September 2023, she and JR ventured to Greece for a friend’s wedding. See the photos here!

So, who is JR Ringer?

JR Ringer is a Los Angeles based talent agent. His clients include A-List stars such as Josh Hartnett, Sean Bean, Andy Allo and Jessica Stroup. He currently works at Verve Talent Agency in California. Prior to that, Ringer spent 14 years at ICM Partners (International Creative Management).

JR graduated from Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, according to Deadline, and worked his way through the ranks at ICM before moving to Verve in 2022. And, no, he does not represent his wife (Merrit’s with Atlas Artists).

1. Her full name is Skyler Rose Samuels and she is 29 years old.  She was born in Los Angeles, California in 1994.

Skyler was getting slammed online for agreeing to portray Gabby in the Lifetime movie.  Viewers felt like it was just too soon to be sharing her story and that Skyler was trying to cash in on this.  However, Samuels describes how hard it was to make this decision when she spoke to ET.  She said, “I was admittedly quite overwhelmed and it was a hard decision to make,” and she continued “I also felt it was a chance to give Gabby a voice in her own story that I don’t think the media did justice with.”

3. She replaced Candace Cameron Bure as the lead, Aurora Teagarden in the Aurora Teagarden Mystery movies filmed by Hallmark Channel.

4. Skyler stands at 5’6” tall.

]]> Antonio Cupo is a talented Canadian actor. Born in Vancouver to Italian parents Manilo and Lucia, Cupo is the youngest of three children. Known for his work in the US, Canada and Italy, he’s become an international household name. In Italy, he appeared in Elisa di Rivombrosa, Medici miei and Il ritmo della vita. For the US and Canada, Cupo starred in The Immortal, Just Cause and Ice.

Cupo’s also a familiar face on both Hallmark and Lifetime movie networks. Most recently, he starred as the male lead in Guiding Emily, a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film opposite Sarah Drew. Antonio is not only a great actor, but a dedicated husband and father. When he’s not working, the 45-year-old spends time with his friends and family, all of which he shares on social media with his bevy of fans.

7 Fun Facts about Antonio Cupo

1) As mentioned above, Antonio is the youngest child. He has two siblings named Sabato and Carmelina. Carmelina is also an actress. Apparently, his sister is the one who “pushed him into acting” according to an old Instagram post.

2) He is married to wife Dorothy Wang. They have two children together: a son Brando, born in 2016 and a daughter Chiara, born in 2019. Antonio often posts photos of his children on his Instagram.

3) He’s bilingual, and can go back and forth seamlessly between speaking English and Italian.

4) Before becoming a famous actor, Antonio got his degree from the University of British Columbia in English Literature. In school, he performed in various theater productions, and even sang in a band. 

5) His filmography is quite impressive. You may have seen him in the 2022 blockbuster horror flick The Legend of La Llorona, or the 2017 Sundance film It Happened in LA. As far as made-for-TV movies go, Cupo appeared in Christmas at the Golden Dragon, A Winning Team, A Glenbrooke Christmas (Hallmark), as well as Devious Nanny, Beaches and Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story (Lifetime). 

6) Antonio’s no stranger to the world of television. He’s held recurring roles in series such as Bomb Girls and Blood & Treasure. Rounding out his credits are guest spots on shows like UnReal, Supernatural and Peacemaker.
