Lori Loughlin has booked her next Great American Family feature. The former Full/Fuller House actress will star in A Christmas Blessing, an all-new original movie. Premiering this fall as part of Great American Christmas, it is Loughlin’s next project since 2022’s Fall Into Winter on GAC. Blessings of Christmas Plot
Per Deadline, Lori Loughlin portrays “renowned TV star Mandy Gilmore, who is saying goodbye to her hit culinary series, A World of Food, so she can travel the globe and dine in all 142 Michelin star restaurants.”
Before traveling to Paris, she stops in Wisconsin with the deed to her late aunt’s food pantry, Angel’s Fare. Recently, it was purchased by business owner Adam Carraway (James Tupper). A simple transaction turns complicated when pantry volunteer Otto Nessen (Jesse Hutch) reminds everyone of Aunt Susie’s real love. Her “love of cooking was actually love of feeding — which inspires one more holiday feast for those who need it most” Deadline reports.
Great American Family Channel posted about the new movie, writing: “Add ‘Blessings of Christmas’ to your 2023 holiday celebration, featuring #LoriLoughlin, @mrjamestupper & @jesse_hutch, part of #GreatAmericanChristmas.”

Lori Loughlin as Mandy Gilmore
Lori Loughlin is best known for her role as Rebecca Donaldson on Full and Fuller House. The 58-year-old also portrayed Abigail Stanton on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart from 2014–2019. Loughlin reprised her role in the GAC spinoff series When Hope Calls in 2021. As mentioned above, Lori’s other movie with Great American Family was 2022’s Fall Into Winter. She is married to Mossimo Giannulli, and they have two daughters, Olivia and Bella.
Jesse Hutch as Otto Nessen
Jesse Hutch is a Canadian actor. He appeared in movies like Harvest Moon and Christmas in Toyland for Hallmark Channel. Plus, Hutch was a series regular during seasons 2 and 3 of the network’s show Cedar Cove. Most recently, he starred in B&B Merry on Great American Family with Jen Lilley. Jesse married wife Lorelei in 2009 and they have 3 children together.

Not a very good movie. I’m glad I recorded it so I could fast forward through some of it. There’s no chemistry between the characters at all. James Tupper’s character is nerd with a bad hairpiece and Jesse Hutch is kinda creepy. I’ve enjoyed every other movie those guys have been in so this was a big disappointment.
