What is Autumn in the City about?
Piper Grant (Teegarden) moves to New York for a fresh start and to find her career passion. As she bounces between different exciting temp jobs that take her all over the city, she meets Austin Edwards (Roderick), an aspiring writer hoping to emerge from the shadow of his famous journalist mother (Colleen Wheeler, Tully). While Piper’s sunny optimism is at odds with Austin’s jaded personality, the magic of the autumn season soon brings them closer together. When Piper realizes her true passion is illustration, they decide to team up on a children’s book project, and in the process, discover what they’re really searching for just might be each other.

Aimee Teegarden as Piper
She is an American actress from Downey, California. Aimee starred as Julie Taylor in the NBC drama Friday Night Lights. The 32-year old actress has been in a number of Hallmark Channel movies. Most recently, she starred in Heart of the Matter for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel.
Aimee is a very proud dog mom to her tiny pup Gizmo. You can follow the dog on her own Instagram. In June, Aimee threw a party for her “beautiful baby girl” who turned 17. Check out this Instagram post!
Evan Roderick as Austin
He is an actor and former ice hockey player from Canada. He is 27 years old from North Vancouver area. In addition to acting, he also makes music. You can see here he is promoting his single Upside Down which is streaming everywhere.
Aimee Teegarden Signs Exclusive Deal
Aimee made a big announcement on Instagram to her fans! She signed an exclusive multi picture deal with Crown Media which houses the Hallmark Channel. Aimee expressed, “I’m so excited and grateful for this partnership with @Hallmark and can’t wait to keep telling stories from the heart.”
