Lifetime is airing an all-new original holiday film during their annual “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” event. It’s called A Show Stopping Christmas, and it premieres on Sunday November 20, 2022. What is A Show Stopping Christmas on Lifetime About?
Riley Burdett (Jamie Perez) is the artistic director of the Onota Theatre in Western Massachusetts. When Regina, the Scrooge-like owner of the theatre, breaks the news that she’s preparing to sell the property before the holiday performance, Riley must call upon the ghosts of Regina’s past, present, and future to change her mind. Meanwhile, a big TV star, Sam Palmer (Thomas McDonnell), has moved to the area to escape the craziness of Hollywood. Riley casts him as Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol and his star power, his cleverness, and his budding love for Riley helps her save the theatre…and steal her heart during this very special Christmastime.

Jamie Perez is a Latinx actress. She’s known for her role on Netflix’s We Can Be Heroes, and more recently, guest spots on shows such as Walker. This is her first Lifetime original holiday film. In addition to acting, Jamie’s modeled and done partnerships with brands like Samsung.
Thomas McDonnell as Sam
Thomas McDonnell is an American actor known for his roles in The 100, Prom and Fun Size. He’s also guest starred on Fun Size co-star’s Jane Levy’s shows Suburgatory and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.
Speaking of Fun Size, Thomas celebrated a decade of the movie being out on Instagram, posting some behind the scenes photos from the film. “Fun Size came out ten years ago today 10.26.12,” he wrote.
