Hallmark Channel continues to roll out new movies as part of its annual Summer Nights programming event. Their newest title is A Safari Romance, starring Andrew Walker and Brittany Bristow. It joins other originals such as Aloha Heart and Making Waves. Cast and plot details, photos and the premiere date are below. Keep reading to learn more about this new film.
What is A Safari Romance about?
Megan (Brittany Bristow) is a research scientist. She is pursuing her Ph.D. while working as a ranger on a nature reserve in South Africa. When American theme park designer Tim (Andrew Walker) arrives on safari, Megan serves as his guide. Exploring the savanna allows them to see giraffes, elephants and lions in their natural habitats. As they go, Megan and Tim open up to each other about their dreams and begin to grow close. Things are going well until Amy (Simoné Pretorius, “Hotel”), a woman from Tim’s past, arrives to take over the project. Amy’s disregard for rules puts Megan’s job at risk and threatens Megan and Tim’s budding romance. Megan also knows that Tim returns home soon. Can she give her heart to someone who lives half a world away? She may find that love is an adventure worth taking.
Who’s in the Cast of A Safari Romance?
Andrew Walker as Tim
Andrew Walker starred in Three Wise Men and a Baby and Bottled with Love on Hallmark Channel. Other films include The Perfect Catch, Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate and Curious Caterer: Grilling Season. The 44-year-old is married to wife Cassandra Troy. They have two children together. In addition to acting, Andrew co-founded juice company Little West with wife Cassandra.
Brittany Bristow as Megan
Brittany Bristow appeared in Holiday Date and Love, Romance & Chocolate for Hallmark. Bristow guested on TV series such as The Love Club, Rising Suns and Baxter. The 33-year-old produced short films and wrote one as well. In 2022, she married husband Dustin Keating. A Safari Romance was a family project for the Bristows, as her dad directed and her mom wrote the script. When Brittany’s not working, she enjoys traveling and is a “wannabe golfer” according to her Instagram bio.
